Thanks to one of my fellow students for the pointer to this write-up on the O'Reilly site about my Etech talk - it's a very thorough recap (and looks pretty accurate).
This is what happens when someone (in this case, Scott Beale) sticks a camera in my face. I can't help it. And then Valleywag republishes it. Good thing I wasn't drunk, it might have been much worse. In other news, my talk at O'Reilly Emerging Tech went very well. I'm glad it's over though!

I'm leading a Birds of a Feather session at O'Reilly Emerging Tech next week: "RFID: A Case Study of the Risks and Benefits of Location-Aware Technologies." Due to last minute back-and-forth with the very nice O'Reilly folks I was not able to grab a formal presentation slot, but was able to hold this BOF instead, [Update - I did both a BoF and a formal talk in the main presentation schedule - woo!] where I'll be discussing RFID in general and some of the work I've done analyzing the new e-Passports (and for fun, the US-VISIT program, which you'll just have to take my word for it that it's fun).
